Why free servers sleep
A free server shares the CPU with other free servers. It sleeps after 5 minutes with nobody online, and you can set that up to 10 minutes. Your world, files and settings are kept while it sleeps.
Wake it up
Join play.kixa.host and open the compass server selector.
Choose your server. That starts it, and you stay in the lobby while it gets ready.
Or press Start on the server page in your dashboard.
When the free pool is full
If many free servers are running at once, the lobby shows a queue while you wait. You can cancel your selection and choose another server.
Keep it on all the time
Paid servers stay on when empty and get more CPU. Move the same server to a paid plan from the dashboard; your world, plugins and settings stay.
Common questions
Do I lose anything when it sleeps?
No. Sleeping only stops the server process. Your world and files are kept.
How many free servers can run at once?
Each account can have two free servers, with one running at a time.
