How to reset your world

Want a fresh start? Reset the world and pick a seed, or let it roll a random one.

Reset the world

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Open World tools in your server panel and choose Reset world.
  3. Type a seed if you want one. Leave it empty for a random world.
  4. Press Reset world, then start your server. The next start makes the new world.

What gets deleted

The world, its Nether and its End are deleted. Your plugins, settings and player lists stay.

Common questions

Does changing the seed in settings make a new world?
No. The seed only shapes a new world. To use it, reset the world.
Can I undo a reset?
For 24 hours, yes. Restore the safety backup from Backups.
